220Soft was formed in August 2000 with Peter Davidson as Managing Director and John Snowden as director of Sales and Marketing. Peter has worked on many projects with John in the IT industry since 1982. The other team members are Paul Hayes, who has been working as Director of Project and Product Development within the team for 9 years, and John Plunkett who has invaluable experience in the fields of Education and Healthcare.

The close working relationship of these individuals forms a partnership of the designers of the UK's top-selling educational software and courses, the leader of some of the most successful PR, sales and marketing campaigns for IT products in the UK and an abundance of healthcare knowledge. The company also has an unbeatable joint wealth of experience and contacts in the field.

Peter Davidson

Peter is MD and Director of Programming

Peter was a teacher who went on to become editor of seven computer titles at Europress Publications and was also group education editor. Following that he joined Europress Software where he was responsible for many titles including the two acclaimed products Mini Office and the world's top-selling educational range - Fun School.

Peter left Europress and became a director of 10 out of 10 Educational Systems which he left to pursue a freelance career in designing educational web sites and consultant for several software houses. He was employed by a leading Sales and Marketing company from 2000 to 2002 which he left to form 220 Soft. Peter@220soft.co.uk

John Snowden

John is Director of Sales and Marketing

John was a former Director of Europress Publications. At Europress, John was responsible for the launch of 16 well-known magazines such as BBC Micro User and PC Home.

In 1993 John became a PR consultant working for companies within the IT sector including Europress Software, Demon Internet, Scottish Telecom, LG International, SCI, Serif Europe Ltd, Sony Psygnosis and Universal Polygram.

John worked with 220 Soft during 2002 and realising the potential of the company, joined 220 Soft on a full-time basis in January 2003 as Director of Sales and Marketing. john@220soft.co.uk

Paul Hayes

Paul is Director of Project and Product Development

Paul works with Peter on the design of the courses and accompanying materials. He has thirty years of experience in devising learning programs and delivering courses for Government contracts and major National Training providers. He was a key consultant for the change management program within the UK STEEL Industries. paul@220soft.co.uk

John Plunkett RGN, Bsc(Hons )Health Studies, PGDE, M(sc) Health Professional Education

John is Director of Programme Content

John works with the team on the content of the courses and materials. John's background is in Nursing and Education, and for 26 years he has been a qualified Nurse and Teacher. He has a range of formal professional and academic qualifications to Masters Level. John's background, skills and expertise in the field of care and education are invaluable when designing specialised courses. johnp@220soft.co.uk

Charles Moran

Charles is Quality Control Manager

Charles has considerable experience in Quality Control as he worked as a freelance writer for many IT Publications as well as the sub editor for a National Magazine. In his spare time he is currently proofing a novel due to be published later in the year. charles@220soft.co.uk

William Cheung

William is Business Development Manager

William's role is to develop sales within new UK sectors and into Far East Asia, as well as overseeing the development into the Indian sub continent. Since 2011 he worked for the Manchester Metropolitan University and was responsible for dealing with such organisations as BAE and NHS to achieve sponsorships for the University. William also negotiated with establishments and organisations to arrange lectures and contract agreements.

William is fluent in Cantonese and Hakka which is one of the major Chinese language subdivisions and is spoken natively by the Hakka people in Southern China, Taiwan and throughout East and South East Asia. william@220soft.co.uk
